I give away my grandfathers FT - if it’s picked up in Norway…
My danish grandfather bought a lot of fishertechnik in Germany in the late 1970s and early 1980s. After he died in 1995, I brought it home to Norway, where my two sons made a real mess of it… and after that, it has been stored in a barn for 25 years. Now I’m clearing out, and the «sensible» thing would be to take it all to the garbage dump, as I don’t think there’s any interest for it here in Norway. But it’s a lot (a LOT!) of bricks, and I’d really like someone to have them instead of throwing them away! The problem is they must be picked up here - at Larkollen, about an hours drive south of Oslo.
I’ve taken some pictures to give an impression of the amount, but so far I haven’t found out how to attach them, so for a start: There’s three grey plastic crates (30 x 40 x 60 cm) full of very unsorted bricks, 14 standard sorting boxes, (some of them with quite orderly sorted content, some not), and a pile of building instructions and catalogues.
Interested? Send me an e-mail (birgitte.akerhaugen@gmail.com - then I can also send the pictures if I’m not able to get them published here) or phone me (+47 904 17 491)! Birgitte

Hi Birgitte,
just so that your kind initiative doesn't go unanswered: I think there are some here who would gladly take your offer, but it'll probably take too much of a coincidence to have somebody visit your area and have the necessary transport capacity at the same time. And to make that trip only to save the collection is just too costly, given that the second hand value of the kind of collection you describe is typically somewhere around a couple of hundred Euros.
But maybe I'm wrong and somebody is just rescheduling their holiday camper van plans for the summer?
Best of luck

Thanks @geometer for clarification.
The collection is way to valuable to just dispose it. Unfortunately I'm not able to make a trip to Norway to pick it up. I hope that the parts will be saved!
Best regards
Peter

Perhaps there is another possibility:
Put everything into moving cardboxes and get a quote from a freight forwarder or a moving company or cost for posting.
DHL charges 27.30 EUR for a 20kg package 120x60x60 from Germany to Finnland. I
Surely you can charge much more for your effort or if you select a moving company / freight forwarder who helps you to package it.
regards
Florian
