ftduino

Beitrag von evertdankert » 13 Dez 2018, 08:09

Hi,

I have a ftduino and it comes with new libraries. Also with new commands, unknown to arduino itself. I am looking for an overview and function of the specific ftduino command lines (for eg "ftduino.motor_set"). Can anyone help me? I can read German; the writing is just horrible for me:)

Of course I have checked that. But it contains NO overview on commands, etc. Please read my question again.

No reason to get impolite.

The manual I linked contains all commands of both the ftduino_simple and ftduino library for the Arduino IDE, see chapter 9

So please check the manual again.

Kind regards
Peter

I am not unpolite; your answer is just not an answer to my question. Chapter 9 does not give the answers. Read again. Please.

Dear evertdankert,
the most recent version of the ftduino manual has more than 130 pages on programming. I am not aware on any more information on the ftduino. Unfourtunately for you, there is no English description for the system. If you can't find there what you need, I would recommend you to ask specific questions in this forum. I'm quite sure that somebody will help you. We just need to understand what you want to do and what your problems are.
Best regards
Esther

I have the manual as said before. It does not contain an overview. Like said before:) Ah, leave it, I will try it somewhere else to inform weather it exists. Thank you for taking the trouble.

Hi,

why not just contacting Till directly? Pretty sure he can send you some more info.

And ftduino.motor_set(Ftduino ::M1, Ftduino ::LEFT);

First parameter is the motor. So use M1 to M4 for it. Second parameter is direction. Use LEFT, RIGHT or OFF for it.

But I also don´t know exactly what kind of info you want to have.

Hi evertdankert,

I think the chapter 9 in the manual is very helpful for you. There are the explanations for the libraries "ftduinosimple" and "ftduino". Try to translate them with Google-translator and I think you can find, what you are searching for. Even an overview of the commands you haven't found yet ;-)

Believe me, even I found it (and you can ask my wife, I'm a very bad searcher)

Cheers
Kali

I think it's clear that you want an overview, but by reading your posts it is not clear in which way the existing overview does not fulfill your needs.
Please elaborate, instead of constantly telling people to read your posts again and again.

Well, it is not that complicated. An overview is an overview. There is no overview in the manual. Yes, in the manual there is a chapter (9) with commands, but it is not an overview. So we can discuss this for years. But, like I said before, leave it. That is why I said 'read'. Leave it.

Evert, do you happen to be the user FFPBar at thingiverse?

Hallo evertdankert,
evertdankert hat geschrieben:I have a ftduino and it comes with new libraries. Also with new commands, unknown to arduino itself.
what Do you have in mind when using the word "new"? I think that you rather think of "own commands" or "special commands".
evertdankert hat geschrieben:I am looking for an overview and function of the specific ftduino command lines (for eg "ftduino.motor_set").
ftduino.motor_set() is explained on page 128 (Chapter 9 "Bibliotheken", paragraph 9.1.5). As far as I'm informed there isn't any further or alternative documentation available.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen

No.

You never made the effort to clarify your problem, even if a bunch of people tried really hard to be helpful.

I feel very much reminded of an exchange with user FFBbar at thingiverse. Are you sure you are not the same person?
