Problem with TX controller - need help

Beitrag von Peterson Lewis » 24 Jul 2014, 03:09

I have a problem with the ROBO TX controller.
After turning on the power, the screen on the TX controller always stays at the welcome interface and doesn't change.
Is there any simple method to solve this problem?

Are you able to build an USB based connection with RoboPro?

Hi,
this behaviour looks like an abort during a firmware-update. If so, it is possible to repair the damaged software with a "repair kit", you may download it here: http://www.fischertechnik.de/ResourceIm ... ?raid=4547

Thanks a lot! I believe it's the software that get with this problem. And I will try it later.

I'm very happy you like it, but there is no link on the Internet by now.
And now, I'm making my ft website. If it has been done, I'll tell you soon.

It still can not work. Till step 2, it goes well as in the instruction that you give. But in step 3, after I use the "repair.bat" file, the TX controller's screen still stays at the welcome interface. And at the same time, the error message appears on my computer's screen.

When I use the test button in the robopro, the message appears. It says "Error by open COM device".
