Sensoring forum of free speach of mind

Beitrag von HWSA » 19 Dez 2015, 11:03

It is hard to believe but the forum is sensored if the fischerwerke does not like our'e answers the complete topic is removed.
Our free thoughts are removed because it is not wanted.
And that is a very bad thing and not good for us the users who are the only ones who are making it possible for fischerwerke to stil make fischertechnik because we buy it.
Mr Sven nows what i'm talking about he started the topic and it is about a free market and expired patents.

This forum is believed to be inependent and everybody's thought should be respected even the truth but sensoring is a very bad case and puts us back many years in time.

Hello HWSA,

could you please be so kind to
a) tell us at least the title of the respective thread?
b) clue us in what you mean by the word sensored? Do you mean censored?

Regards

Hello,

i´m really sure that he ist talking about "censoring" instead of "sensoring" :D
Secondly the missing thread is the one with Svens question about the chance of getting old cad files of parts that are no more in production.
In one answer there was a link to a site with interesting Infos and FT was really not amused over this....

Hello Mikka,

was it the special thread where also some discussions about Patent coverage took place?

H.A.R.R.Y,

at least i´ve learned that in some cases discussions with FT doesn´t make any sense. Everyone who´s interested in this knows where he could search.. ;)

Nice Weekend....

The deleted thread was within "Kontakt mit fischertechnik". As far as I know that's the only part of this forum where the ft-team can close and delete threads ("Moderator: fischertechnik Mitarbeiter").
In most parts of the forum we should be able to discuss freely without any fear of cersorship...

I do not appreciate the way the ft-team handles sensitive topics but posting provokative posts (like the one with the link to the construction kit) is not always a good idea either...

Thomas

Well, the word "forum" itself means "an open place". An Internet forum is a place where matters can be discussed openly.

Maybe the "ask FT" area should be renamed to something more appropriate. Trying "closet" would make Germans giggle, and "lion's den" might be exaggerating a bit. So how about calling it "Séparée"?

greetings,
Harald

Hallo zusammen,

Martin

(Just a short summary in English )
Hello everybody,

your critics are (in principle) right. We (and I speak for all Moderators) have the opinion, that deleting Threads or Postings is only the very last possibility. As you could have recognized in a lot of years of operating, we have a really open and liberal culture. Deleted Threads (except of Spam) are extremely rare.
The criticized thread in the “Contact with fischertechnik”-Area was deleted by Dirk Haizmann without talking to us. As I am not a lawyer, I can’t and will not decide whether there was an invitation for law-breaking or not.

As consequence, ft-employees are no longer able to delete threads. Closing is possible, deleting not. In case of doubt, the Moderators decide.

Best Regards from the whole team,

Martin
