Schade, ansonsten könnte man diese App verwenden: http://forum.ftcommunity.de/viewtopic.p ... it=justins

If it is possible to install robo pro on the raspberry pi (but I think it isn't, cause on the raspberry pi Windows don't run, only Linux) it should be possible to connect the TX-controller via USB with the r-pi. And than to control with an iPhone/iPod with this app: http://forum.ftcommunity.de/viewtopic.p ... it=justins

No you probably cannot run RoboPro (unless you have a suitable emulator), but you can still communicate with the TX when you have a virtual comport. With a simple terminal emulator you should already be able to send console commands to the TX. The next step would be X1, several people are working on X1 hosts and devices.

I'ld vote for installing Linux on the TX.

Linux? Is that wishful thinking or do you have some ideas on how to do that?
I'm not so much interested in linux because it is probably even heavier than 4netos, but I would really like to see the hardware layer.

I don't have a TX, but if you can update the firmware, then you can put Linux on it. Finding a jtag and uart will surely help of course.

Linux alreadys runs on the AT91SAM9260, so the basic task should just be to configure the devicetree (HW specific stuff like RAM) and I/Os.

Of course some experience with Linux/ARM is required..

Jtag is there! http://askrprojects.net/fischertechnik/robotx.html. But which peripherals are used for what and how, that's the question.

Hallo,

FtThread: Error reading from the Interface. Got -110 of 21 bytes

Aber ich hatte den Satz "you need know to replug your device" übersehen.

uname -a liefert:

Linux raspberrypi 3.6.11+ #474 PREEMPT Thu Jun 13 17:14:42 BST 2013 armv6l GNU/Linux

Note - Unable to set realtime priority: Operation not permitted

FtThread: Error reading from the Interface. Got 0 of 42 bytes

2) die Robo-I/O-Extension macht jedoch keine Probleme.
