Dear fischertechnik community,

I am currently looking for fischertechnik ROBO TX, ROBO LT or ROBO users who would be interested in helping to beta-test Flowol 4 (http://www.flowol.com) on Linux.

Please e-mail me at anthony@flowol.com if you have 32-bit x86 Linux on the desktop PC (e.g. Ubuntu 10.04 or openSUSE) and you would be interested in helping beta-test.

Best Regards,

Anthony Bowker

We're a 3rd party partnering with fischertechnik, and I'm not at liberty to publish their protocols. You should address your request directly to fischertechnik if the downloads and documentation available at http://www.fischertechnik.de/desktopdef ... /tabid-39/ don't include what you're looking for.

@Defiant

Hi,

90% of the TX protocol is the documentation that comes with the ftmsclib. The remaining 10% is not difficult to guess.
What do you want to know?

@anthony_bowker,

So it is a commercial activity. How much are you offering for the tests?

Flowol is commercial software. However I cannot offer money to participate in beta testing. In the past I have received the best feedback from enthusiasts (often teachers who use the beta software in the classroom).

Remarks about the commercial issue:
MS Robotics Developers Studio and the FtxxServices are not commercial and free.
Fischertechnik and Studica (Fischertechnik USA/Canada/UK) are partners in this Microsoft initiative.
