I2C level shifting simple explained

Beitrag von vleeuwen » 04 Jul 2019, 12:07

As comment on the article in the FTpedia 2019-2 and Abb13 ( the black lines are Gnd and not 3.3V or 5V or 9V),
The content has been moved to my web site:

Thank you Carel for the explanations and the references.

IMHO, you deserve to publish a whole technical article about I²C in the next issue of ft-pedia!

MasterOfGizmo,
My thanks for your invitation, however I don't have the intention to add something to the basic I2C information that I already publish on my web site. As I wrote before the NXP documentation is clear and easy to understand.
I2C is very straightforward.
The measurement about the strange behavior (bug) of the TXT in the 100kHz mode are also describe.

For the moment I am more interested in the possibilities offer bij the new fischertechnik TXT firmware 4.5.0., like:
Web server (civetweb), CGI-scripting, Python on the TXT, MQTT .
And also the SLI (firmware >= 4.4.3)
