Hi folks,
It seems that I found bug in the Robo Pro 3.2.6. Please perform following steps to reproduce:
  1. Create a new program
  2. Drag any programming element into the program window. For example – “Start” element.
  3. Start drawing program flow line from the “Start” element connection pin.
  4. When you still continue drawing the flow line click on “Delete a program element” icon in the toolbar an then point on flow line you drawing.
  5. Then click anywhere in the white space in the program window.
What you see? In my case I see “Assertion failed modal dialog” and then Robo Pro terminates. Please spend 1 minute and report if you have same issue.

Hello
I checked it, I have the same window.
Maybe you should ask Dirk in the Contact Fischertechnik forum.

This "feature" is not only the case with "Del program element" but also with other toolbar items like "Start", "Stop".
This feature exists already a long time. I reported it already a couple of years ago.

Work around:
To end the "drawing workflow mode" use the "esc: key.

Thanks for ESC key workaround.

Same bug with New, Copy and Delete Subprogram toolbar items.

I'm sad because I don't know how to explain this "feature" to my young students 7-10 years old :?

Simple to explain: in case you are not able to connect a "work flow or data flow line (braun)" with an "end pint", use the ESC-key.

Also a deletion of a work flow, data flow line or element has it proper feature: after selection you sometimes need the menu option Edit|Cut and sometime the DEL key can be used.
