Robo Connect Box

Hello FT fans,
I used my Robo Connect Box with first The Universal Interface and, second, The Intelligent interface ( serial ) , with RoboPro.
In both situations, it is impossible to vary the speed of the motors ( 0 t0 8 ) , on all M1....M4.
I would like to know if this is normal behavior with the Robo Connect Box.

As far as I know these interfaces had no variable speeds, just on/off.

@Ad2,
Thank you for the answer, but the Robo Connect Box is suppose to make these two old interfaces behave like a Robo interface , using RoboPro SW.
So we shouid be able to control the speed of the motors.

Hello Marspau,
with or without box, the behaviour as described is OK.
The Robo Interface has been the first interface being able to control the power (speed) of M1 - M4 (O1 - O8) in 8 steps.
The Robo Connect Box can't alter or overrule any hardware (or firmware) limitations of the connected interfaces.

But the Robo Connect Box firmware could emulate the Robo Pro speed settings by a kind of software PWM

Not sure how fast the Universal or Intelligent interface could process these updates and if this would make sense then...
I still wait for the support of extension modules by the Robo Connect Box.
If the code would be open source other people would maybe jump on it...

But the extension modules already have USB...

Did you mean the Robo IF Extensions? Yes they have but this was about the old Universal and Serial interfaces
The ROBO Connect Box firmware would need to support these extensions, currently this is only done for the main interface and I afraid this will also not change as they are busy with many other mire important projects... I will follow the Arduino example mentioned in the fourum to get them connected for larger ft factory installation in the future (hopefully if I find the time
