Altes RoboPro Update gesucht! 3.1.3
Hallo,

Re: Altes RoboPro Update gesucht! 3.1.3
Hallo Ingo,
Was meinen die ft:c-Administratoren dazu?
Beste Grüße,
Dirk

Re: Altes RoboPro Update gesucht! 3.1.3
Hallo!
Sven

Hallo!
@sulu007:
@dfox:
Sven

Re: Altes RoboPro Update gesucht! 3.1.3
Hi all,
I am brand new in this forum and found this post to be the place to start.
I have strange issues with programs running in my RoboTX :
- after a period of time varying from minute to hour, the display goes off (program still running correctly ?)
- the LED inside the robot changes blinking rate during operation, like when the program is loaded at boot-up (spurious resets ? program reloaded ?)
I suspect this instability to be generated by the RoboPro software itself, therefore I am searching for the highest version that does not hold the problem.
So far I could find that :
- 3.0.8 is stable : programm running perfectly, no issue at all
- 3.2.3 and higher : show both issues
What is the problem, application code generated with errors, code not correctly written in robot ?
Could you please help me to find the RoboPro updates available between 3.0.8 and 3.2.3 ?
Is there a place hosting the previous versions ? On FT web site is only the latest !
Thank you.

Re: Altes RoboPro Update gesucht! 3.1.3
Hi Elektrolutz,
Thank you for the hint, unfortunately it did not solve the issue.
I kept on searching and found that even the oldest ROBOpro has problems, it only takes longer and behaves differently . . .
I use the sample program = C:\...\ROBOpro\Library\TX-Controller\NTC.rpp
Do you have any issue when running this program for 1 hour ?
May be my RoboTX is damaged ! Are there tests to check it ?
Grüße, Terry

Re: Altes RoboPro Update gesucht! 3.1.3
Hi Terry,
I suppose we could exclude the TX power supply from the list of possible issues?
Will run the NTC.rpp at home so check the behavior. Never tried to run a programm on the TX for hours

Re: Altes RoboPro Update gesucht! 3.1.3
Hi Thomas, Hi Elektrolutz,
Thank you for the time you spend to help me, I do appreciate.
I also never made such long tests with the TXC but I am now planning a house thermal regulation, which means 24/7 operation over winter months . . .
I have made tests with several power supplies, switched, linear, accus, different voltages : all same problem.
I have used several PCs, operating systems : all same problem.
I have used different TXCs : all same problem.
You have successfully tested the NTC application.
So, the problem must be software in the TXC (I doubt the different TXCs I used to have the same hardware failure)
Then found this : "ROBO TX Controller Firmware repair kit"
This tool totally overwrites the flash memory, including the user settings (like display language), what does not make the firmware upgrade within the ROBOpro.
I suspect the "older" user settings to be incompatible with the "new" firmware, and FT to have good reasons to have developed this tool !
I have "firmare repaired" 2 TXCs, and it looks promising : they are already running since 2 hours without display crashes.
Best regards, Terry
