Error with RoboInterface after programming RAM

Another oddity..I just successfully uploaded edgetest.hex into flash using "-t flash1":
ftuploader -u 0 -U edgetest.hex -N edgetest -t flash1
Found program for RAM
Overwriting Destination: Using Flash 1
Upload done
ftuploader -n
Flash #1: edgetest
Flash #2: <No Program stored>
Ram: <No Program stored>
But if I want to upload the interpreter into flash1 (after erasing it), it goes wrong.

@thkais: I'm back to trying this again. What I fail to get is what this means:

Error uploading Program: Return value for 0xC0, 0x20 is 0xef

Is this something software or hardware related or both ?

you are trying again with Linux? In this case I don't know from where this error-message comes because I am working with windows only. Never seen such a message with the windows-based uploader....

@defiant: Since you run Linux as well, have you ever encountered that error with Hex codes ?

@thkais: I finally found time to try ftuploader on Windows7, where it is called FtLoader.exe. Using the same arguments as on Linux using the commandline, I was surprised that instead of staying at commandline, the graphical interface of FtLoader is started without any data. Besides that, from within the program I seem to be unable to upload anything else than a *.hex file. So to upload the interpreter (*.rom), could you tell me how to proceed?
