Nein. Die beworbene REST-Schnittstelle ist die, über die RPC den TXT anspricht. Also die, die z.B. SofTXT implementiert.

Node-Red is also doing well with the available TXT4.0 REST-api.
It is a little bit complex.

Unter dem Webservice (IP deines TXT4.0) http://192.x.y.z/api/v1/ui/ findest du die REST API Dokumentation.
Node-Red bedient alle möglichen Schnittstellen. In der 24V Lernfabrik war es auf dem beigelegten RasPi installiert und wurde als
Bridge zwischen MQTT und OPC-UA eingesetzt. Direkt auf dem TXT4.0 eröffnet es irre Möglichkeiten.

Das sehe ich auch so. Vermutlich will FT das Raspi-GW ersetzen. Mit node-red kann man die schönsten Dinge recht einfach machen. Ist so was wie Scratch für Techniker, also low-code oder wie man dazu sagen möchte. Besonders das Dashboard finde ich Klasse. Und keine Angst, wenn es sein muss, kann node-red nicht nur JavaScript, sondern auch Python.

Hab den TX-PI hier bei mir auch node-red verordnet. Läuft sehr schön. Das mit node-red auf dem TXT4 wäre echt eine Überlegung wert.

Ich benutze Node-Red für alles Mögliche - Lampensteuerung/Dunstabzugshaube über Zigbee/EnOcean, Datenlogging, etc.
aber das gehört nicht hierher.
Im ersten Lockdown kam ich auf die Idee einen Node-Red Programmierkurs für Kinder anzubieten.
Meine Kinder waren mit den Angeboten im Homescooling nicht ganz zufrieden...
Als ich dann davon hörte, daß der TXT4.0 Node-Red an Bord hat, hab ich mich um ein Vorseriengerät bemüht und ein kleines Bastelprojekt gestartet.
Was dabei raus kam fand ich echt genial...
Ich hab ein kleines Python Programm erstellt um die Hardware des TXT4.0 via MQTT anzusprechen bzw. auszulesen.
In Node-Red wurde dann die Logik gebaut die das Modell steuerte. Dazu noch eine Bedienoberfläche...

Cool, so was ähnliches hab ich mit dem Pi vor. Die PDF würden mich auf jeden Fall interessieren. Finde Node-Red ein Klasse Tool. Haben in der Schule schon einige Projekte damit gehabt. So ähnlich wie deine oben, halt O.T. hier.

Wo gibt es denn die Vorserienmodelle. Welche Dirsto ist drauf?

Ich wohne ganz in der Nähe vom ft Stammsitz und kenne da ein paar Leute. Denen hab ich erzählt was ich machen möchte und hab einen TXT4.0 gestellt bekommen. Distro kenn ich nicht, hilft Dir das?

Die Anfrage war gut versteckt (ich interessiere mich gerade nicht für Computing und lese daher dieses Unterforum nur sehr sporadisch).
Wenn Du ein Dokument veröffentlichen willst, ist der Know-How-Bereich unserer Website der richtige Ort.

Firmware version 3.0.0 (experimental version, not in use since november 2021) is very out of date.
API version 6.0.8
With the actual version of RoboPro coding 6.0.6 you need firmware 3.1.0. 14-october-2021 12:09:40 (first released version)
You can automaticaly update the TXT4.0 in Settings|< scroll down>update| < scroll down> online updates

@vleeuwen: Hello vleeuwen, many thanks for you Information. I know that the version is rather old and that some functions are missing (e.g. Tensorflow) but I have root access to the system what is extremly helpful in some situations. So at the moment I like to have the basic system untouched. Maybe anybody has the information of how to build a bootable sd card for the TXT4.0? Or is there a *.img file of the actual release somewhere available?

Actually I write my applications in Python and execute the *.py files directly on the TXT4.0 - without ROBOPro coding.

RoboPro Coding and Visual Studio code are doing the same. The Python interpreter is always running on the TXT4.0 and execute the code lines.
There is no on-line mode as with RoboPro and the TXT.
The main difference is that the C++ code is compiled and optimized into machine code before running. The executable contains no C++ but machine code.
Firmware 3.0.0 contains a lot of small bugs.
The boor image will be downloaded first and after downloading the update sequence starts.

. I write my Python code in a text editor, transfer the file to the /usr/share/examples/pyexamples/ folder and execute it there via Node-Red EXEC node by startup of the Node-Red service.

Is it possible to interrupt the update procedure after download of the IMG file - before the update sequence starts?
I tried to figure out where the IMG file is downloaded from, but I only found the base web address of the download server (https://update.fischertechnik-cloud.com) - the folders where the IMG files are located are password protected but there is a free area also.

I have a new TXT 4.0 controller to test. Access to NODE-Red works, but I can't connect to the controller like I can to MQTT Broker. According to systemctl the service is running. Isn't it necessary to use e.g. some login credentials? FW version is 3.1.4.
