Wenn da eine schöne Anleitung bei heraus kommt (und da sieht es nach aus, Kali hat sich da ins Zeug gelegt), dann wird das sicher auch veröffentlicht. Aber nicht hier sondern auf Github zusammen mit allem was man sonst noch braucht.

habe die eben mal nur kurz überflogen, aber Wow!

Die sieht doch richtig Klasse aus. Denke da wird der eine oder andere nachbauen wollen.
Mal sehen was mein Junior sagt wenn ich ihm die mal zeige.

Bei uns hat das erste Team (zwei Jungs, 5. Klasse) tatsächlich einmal den Würfel mit ihrem (nach Anleitung gebauten) Cube-Solver gelöst

3 weitere Teams möchten die Mechanik aber nach eigenen Ideen umsetzen und nur bei gaaanz schwierigen Details auf die Musterlösung zurückgreifen. Learnings bisher:

- mit der neueren Kamera ist der Weißabgleich kein Problem mehr und es können auch "normale" Würfel gelöst werden
- die "normalen" Würfel, die wir am Start haben sind extrem leichtgängige Speedcubes aus China
- die haben dann das Problem, dass sie Orange und Rot nicht sauber abgrenzen lassen
- orangene Post-Its haben hier Abhilfe gebracht
- bei Kunstlicht (Filamentbirnen, recht warmer Farbton) gibt es die sichersten Einleseergebnisse

Das Update auf TXT-Firmware hatte leider zur Folge, dass die Sounds das Programm zum Hängen gebracht haben, darum werden wir die Schul-TXT erstmal nicht updaten.

Die Kids sind absolut begeistert von dem Modell

After many years I start again with fischer technik. In april 2020 I stop with working (retirement).I have many idea’s, especially about robots. But first I have built the cube solver from Till Harbaums. I even found the cube app on internet. Everything like to seem working; only the calibration. I have no picture. The camera is not working. I read recent comments on the forum.ftcommunity.de about "USB-Kamera funktioniert nicht". This is to technical for me. Can someone explain me how the camera is getting to work. Update app?

There is an issue with openCV in the current community firmware. Unfortunately the development seems to be a little bit stuck.

edit:
It was reported that v0.9.4 snapshot as of 2017/09/29 works: https://github.com/ftCommunity/ftcommun ... 0929-2.zip

You might downgrade to this one and give it a try.

Impuls fragte, warum die cube solver app unter der aktuellen community firmware nicht läuft. Ich habe auf den openCV bug verwiesen und ein Downgrade auf 0.9.4 empfohlen.

I had a little hope. I downgrade from 0.9.5 to 0.9.4.
Still there is no picture for calibration after the downgrade.
When I start the program, the cube will turn a few times, but on the screen the program is "Scanning..."

When using the "camera app" then there is a clear picture on the screen of the txt controller (even better with versie 0.9.5!)
so the camera is working (the camera is a new one: ID 0c45:6340)

I don't give up. I'm screening the forum and the internet for a solution. By the way I found the power cube resolver. Some one the app for the powercube?

Everyone a good start (good Health, Love and some Luck) in 2020.

I had the same problem as you. I took the CFW-Version 9.4 from the 29.9.2017 and it worked fine for me. Good luck for you and keep us up to date, how your progress is.

Thank you for your answer. I found your version and YES it’s working. So no problems with the "software".
The calibration is difficult. I have to find the right lightning in the surrounding of the cube.
And the "drucker" is not working properly. But that problems I can fix by myself: experiment with FT. If not, I asked on the forum for help.
By the way: is the blue air pump from FT strong enough? I tried the air pump from my aquarium, but this was not a good choice

Yes, for me it works fine. I saw that MoG uses the air tank as well. But in my models it's good enough even without the air tank.

I found that the calibration workes better without daylight. Warmer coulors (less blue) seem to be better. But it depends also on the cube model.
