Hi all,
I'm currently purchasing some stell balls to build a small marble run, but I don't have any of the original ones (part # 144262). Are they indeed 12 mm diameter or actually 12,7 mm (that is, 1/2 inch)? I believe this small difference is not important, but I just want to be sure.
Thanks for any help!

Hi an alle,

Hi Rubem,
as far as I know fischertechnik lists the marbles as 12.5mm diameter. They are in fact, as you suspected 1/2 inch, 12.72mm.

Thanks, great info! The "12" is actually taken from FTDB, the part is listed as "Metallkugel 12". Since ft itself also rounds the number, anything between 12 and 13 mm is acceptedThe Rob hat geschrieben: ↑15 Apr 2021, 09:44Hi Rubem,
