Kennen Sie diese Bauteile? / Do you know these building parts?

Beitrag von rubem » 17 Jan 2021, 00:32

Hi all,

I have these parts and I have absolutely no idea what they are for. They don't even seem to fit in the grid:

Then there are these:

And this one:

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what were (or are) these parts used for? Many thanks in advance,

Hello rubem,

I'll try, at least.

Part one is rather simple, it's the "Bau-Spiel-Bahn" passenger cart roof:

Part two are couplers for the Bau-Spiel-Bahn:
https://ft-datenbank.de/ft-article/2606

Part four is a lever for the classic pneumatic valve:

Part 5:

and finally part 3, took me a while since I never owned a Bau-Spiel-Bahn:

But I have to admit, I don't know part 6. Maybe someone else can help out.

Kind regards
Peter

Hello rubem,

the last part (No. 6) is some airplane special parts (landing gear / trem de aterrissagem lateral) - looks like a little bit of wear - but I am sure it is 31703
https://ft-datenbank.de/ft-article/3819?highlight=31703

There are some more variants around and the best overview you could find among other parts with our ffw:

Sorry this page is German; I hope your translation tool can handle this.

Cumprimentos

Thank you very much for your quick responses! Now I'm busy putting together a model with my newly acquired knowledge... Wait for it.

So here it is... My little toy train station!

2021 is my 50th anniversary with fischertechnik, but I can't recall another occasion when I made a model just to look "cute"... here I chose the most colorful parts I could find. The second criterion was to use old-style parts wherever possible. Almost all components are "classic" red. The mini-motor is the original 15x15x30 model complete with a red light holder plug ("Stopfen für Leuchtstein"). Even the links ("Verbindungsstücke) are the old-fashioned, symmetrical style. No tracks, though :(

I have to admit this is mostly a "fake" model. I don't have enough supports for the train wheels, so in the underside of the wagons I used an old-style 7.5 mm building block instead. Its small hole holds the axle nicely.

Also, the 90 black roof doesn't really stay in place, it probably used some special plates with outside-facing lugs which I don't have. The little green "hat" obviously falls apart... But since I made the model just to look good, I'm pleased with the result. More pictures:

@Peter, thank you very much for helping me with these parts! The word "Bau-Spiel-Bahn" was key to finding some nice references.

@H.A.R.R.Y, thank you for your warm welcome! (The words in Portuguese were a nice touch, by the way.) I keep the Google translator always on for German, and it does a very good job so I can understand it all (except for the ft-pedia, unfortunately, because PDFs are very difficult to translate).
