Gerade bei Knobloch gefunden:

Scheint bisher keine gesehen zu haben, deswegen poste ich das jetzt. Man könnte auch mal einen Thread machen mit den Neuigkeiten und Sonderaktionen bei Knobloch.

Having the encoder make no sense if there is no decoder function on the TX-C and TXT available.
The suggestion for this software was already raised more than 3 years ago.
1 motor cost 2 Counter inputs.

Hello,

this special precious is not intended for basic use with TX or TXT but for the more professional usage with dedicated equipment. Just a pitty is that there was enough interest but nearly no one got the message that it is available from Knobloch several month ago. I found it by chance in the old shop.

I disagree with HARRY.
With a nice firmware based decoder running on the TX-C or TXT, this motor could be very useful in the fischertechnik models.
This has less to do with "professional usage with dedicated equipment".
The fischertechnik TX-C and TXT are powerful enough to deal with this type of basic encoders.

vleeuwen, I don't understand what you point it. If there is no way to get it running on the TX[T] then these controllers just suck. I don't know if it is possible or not because I have neither. The Motor is in the Shop for nearly a year and if there is still no support, chances are very low that it will ever happen.

Thanks to Arduino &co getting "more professional" equipment running is pretty simple nowadays..

I would expect there will be support for the TXT controller later next year...
