Controller 2004

Hello,

I've recently gotten my hands on a Controller (2004) model, it did not come with a power supply!

So I've got a multi power supply, but it needs to to ascertain the plug point as a positive centre or negative centre, trouble being I cannot find any information that will help me!

Any of you guys know what it should be?

So apart from the link message above provided by "Holger" a big thank you, which as you can see is only a link to the image of the device, so no real information about the power except to say it was 9v! No mention of Centre Positive or Centre Negative.

So I guess you may be thinking why not just try it! Well I don't want the power plug to destroy the "ROBO-Interface sw tp 9V"!

Anybody else got this type of information?

The DC socket requires 9V 1000mA centre positive.
Even if the wrong polarity is applied, fischertechnik has integrated a protection diode into all interfaces...

The 1A is more interesting then the 9V. It can also work with 12V or les... may be 8V.

Having connected my "Accu" to the "Robo Interface" as external, which at the time was running at 8.4v the system did not boot!!

The ft-Accu has 8,4V nominal. I dont no when the Interface shut down. But the voltage ist ging down from 9V (?) in two... hours.
Maybe the powerbank is shut down if the current is to low?
Put a lamp to the Interface Voltage input as a test.
