Double dice control with the TXT Controller

Beitrag von fotoopa » 14 Sep 2019, 17:23

Here is a small project for a double electronic dice with LEDs. The images speak for themselves, you have to be able to solder something but a real pcb is not necessary. I use holes in an epoxy print on a 2.54mm grid. The software used is the Robo pro and the program runs directly on the Fischer controller.

If you're working on the battery, it's power consumption is:
Voltage ---- Current
9.0 ---- 260 mA
8.4 ---- 270 mA
8.0 ---- 290 mA
7.0 ---- 320 mA
6.0 ---- 370 mA
5.5 ---- 380 mA

With multiplexing there is sometimes a slight flicker. This isn't really disturbing. The TXT Controller is difficult to steer for very short times (O8 is used for this). Regularly there is a different internal task that interferes with the timing. I have tested many variations of the program but this is the best result for now. If you use only one dice, then no mux is needed, so there is no flicker. The program can be varied a lot and each player in turn can be given a dice module and a switch. There will be in that combination no flicker.
If desired, I can provide the 3D files.

Frans.
