There might be a simple solution: Just write "Picture by Huub van Niekerk". This way you clearly don't claim to be the sole owner of the copyright.

Turns out we had the same idea. I changed the caption of the photo page (not of the photo).

So you don't like if other people take your work and publish it without giving you proper credit. Understood. But don't you think the creators of those models might now feel exactly the same? Someone is publishing photos of their models without giving credit and instead prominently adding his own n...

May I ask why you add this copyright message at all? After all the main effort behind the photos are the models themselves and not taking the photos. Wouldn't it be a nice contribution to the whole event to be less restrictive with the photos? I understand your point. Of course it's about the model...
