I tried to follow the instructions to connect my TXT to my home network. Results so far, with sw version 4.1.6, - I had to use wlan0. Wlan1 said it doesn't support the scan function. - It seems the security key that needs to be entered is a hex key, whereas most home networks work with a pass phrase...

The open source archive looks like the linux system only. The TXT-specific library sources are not there it seems. Only the .so object libraries.

Disappointing.

Anyway, curious to see who succeeds in building and running this thing.

With my non-ft camera the picture shown by the TXT display is steady and crisp. You can experiment with different frame per second (-f option) and jpeg quality (-q option) settings by editing the Test_fb.sh file to see if you can get a better image on the TXT display.

I can't (yet, I hope) find a way to play sound files using a ROBO Pro program. Same for adding new sound files on the TXT. Am I overlooking something?

My TXT arrived today. I haven't been able to open the package yet. But I don't see an updated ROBO Pro version on the ft website yet. I presume I will need one before I can use the TXT? @Ad2 Have you ever tried that? Are the attiny's (with internal clock) fast enough to handle I2C at 400kHz and maintain the counters at a reasonable speed (let's say 1kHz)?
