Lets roll your own ROPO TX
Dear Madame and Monsieur, several weeks ago my sweet TXie was broken and repairing failed, so I decide to boil my own controlleur in the plastic case from old good TXie with HW based on Arduino. I want to show it on our hackerspace booth at next maker fair, so we ordered a roll up from rollup-corner to make the stand nice and visible. Now with nice color lcd and hacker friendly design, here are the pictures (:

Congratulations. Very interesting! Is it based on leonardo? I was thinking about something similar with the Due (arm7) but I'm not hoping to ever fit it in a TX case. I was thinking more of a modular but compatible circuit where you just add the inputs and outputs or displays that you need.

Hello Ad2,
Thaks. Yes, it's based on Leonardo (ATMega32U4). Here you can watch the video - Youtube.
I've used TX case because it has connection elements to connect with ft building blocks.

Great! This may be a big step in bringing the worlds of ft and arduino together. Are you publishing your hard- and software anywhere?
Re: Lets roll your own ROPO TX
Hi ft-ninja,
... Awesome!
I gess it runs a native Arduino executable or do you even control it wireless? via your fx1-arduino-parser?
cheers,
Helmut

Re: Lets roll your own ROPO TX
I'm ready to publish my hard- and software materials. I only need to find right place for it. May be you recommend me?
At this moment It's possible to use this board with following scenarios:
1. Compile, download and run native Arduino sketch (like Download mode in the ROBO Pro).
2. Use the Scratch software on PC and special Arudino sketch to control this board remotely over BT or USB connection.
3. Also you can experiment with ROBO Pro and my fx1-parser sketch.

Thats all for the moment.

Code you can publish on googlecode or github. You can also make a blog on weebly. See for example the site of rei-vilo. Also about arduino and ft.
Re: Lets roll your own ROPO TX
Sorry. Currently I'm limited in free time. I will publish all materials in a week or so.
