FtTxService R08: Integration of the TX-C into MS-RDS

Today I published a new version of the FtTXService for the integration of the TX-C into MS Robotics Developer Studio 2008 R3.

See the fischertechnik MS-RDS page under "Beispiele von Carel".

This version contains also the first versions of the implementation.
  • FtTx Generic Motor,
    FtTx Generic Encoder,
    FtTx Generic Bumper and
    FtTx Generic Dfferential Drive
The VPL examples show a way to control a fischertechnik model by a:
  • XBOX360 control
    a standardized game control
    a virtuele joystick
This version can be downloaded via the LinkIn group

Fischertechnik is a partner in the Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio initiative (MS-RDS).
MS-RDS contains for one:
  • Visual Programming Language and integrated program development enviroment (IDE)
    3D Simulation environement
Instead of the RoboPro work flow with data/command flow as process synchronization, MS-RDS is using messages flow as programming paradigm.
The VPL and the messages flow approach enables you to develop control programs for your model in a compact and abstract way.
