System for delivering force + torque

Beitragvon zazi77 » 10 Sep 2018, 10:10

Hi guys , I am a complete newbie about fischertechnik, I would like to realize a poject, but honestly I don't know where to start.

https://ibb.co/hNwXc9

The idea is to modify the simple construction on the left (the one with elastics) like the image on the right , that is to say add a motor with flexible shaft to deliver a couple plus a pulley for delivering a single force.

it's important I have the chance to increase the torque so to change the moment/force ratio. Indeed the purpose of this model is to show different centers of rotation as M/F ratio increase.

Any help would be appreciated, even the most elementary ones like for example what parts I should buy.

If this is too difficult to realise for a newbie and there is someone on the forum who can do this for me ( I'll pay of course) I'm also open to this possibilty.

thanks to everyone will help

Hello zazi77,

welcome here! You might go with the kit "PROFI Mechanic & Static" https://www.fischertechnik.de/en/produc ... c-static-2 to get a solid foundation of standard parts, including a (small) motor.

Alternatively, buy something like the "Universal Starter" https://www.fischertechnik.de/en/produc ... al-starter and separately and a "Motor set XM" with a strong motor and the "PLUS Power Set" to get a power supply with adjustable voltage for the motor.

If you experiment a bit with the parts and models shown in the manuals, you'll get the feeling. Whenever questions arise, please don't hesitate to ask here!

Best Regards,
Stefan

Stefan's recommendations are exactly what I would have recommended too.
Especially the Mechanic and Static. That Set is available as mech&stat and the newer mech&stat 2, its successor.
I recommend getting the newer one.
