Anybody an idee what part 162134 can be it is in de partlist of the Stem competition set.
https://content.ugfischer.com/cbfiles/f ... lliste.pdf

It replaces part 152223.

It looks like a LED but there is a W in the part picture.

162135 is the new Lenz LED

Maybe they mean that it is a warmwhite LED?????????

I just recently bought a brand new PROFI Optics kit. It seems ft replaced all lamps.

The new ones are already mounted in the socket 38216 and the + mark and the type are printed on It.

162134 LED 5mm in Fassung (Markierung W)
162135 LED 5mm Spot in Fassung für Lichtschranke (Markierung L)
162136 Rainbow LED in Fassung (Markierung RB)

Just a littlebit further have to see how they go on, and what they do whit the older books and if there is a shange in it.
If so i have to search for the changed books for the librairy.

I know the LED-types listed by megablank above from the "Optics"-kit (Art. 520399) as well. I don't think that they are meant as a future replacement, even the "W"-Type (Art. 162134). The latter is brighter and - as I suppose - spectrally more balanced than the "normal" plugable ft-LED (Art. 152223) for indicating or illuminating purposes glowing rather orange than white. The "W"-, "L"- and "RB"-Type are simply more suitable for optical experimentation.

The "L"-Type does better for light barriers, even better than the "Spotlight"-Type provided by FFM (Ln7156sl or Ln7156gg or Ln7156gs or Ln7156gr or Ln7156n). It could replace the filament lamp with the lens (Art. 37875) in most, but not all kits. LEDs save (battery) power and are less damageable by mechanical shock.

Kind regards
Lars
